America 250

With the 250th anniversary of our nation’s Declaration of Independence fast approaching, communities across Michigan and throughout the entire country are gearing up to celebrate one of the most historic milestones in our nation’s story. America 250 commemorates two and a half centuries since our Founding Fathers established the United States of America, launching the greatest experiment in self-government the world has ever known.

From hometown celebrations across mid-Michigan communities to major events in our nation’s capital, there will be countless opportunities for Americans to come together and honor our country’s founding and the values that continue to define us today. You can learn more about the events taking place for America 250 and how to be involved by visiting their website here.
